LUKE, Seamus Michael Jacquier 08.05.1970 - 21.12.2017
My beloved Seamus, love of my life, my adored husband - this day, 1 year ago, our worlds were changed forever. I awoke beside you to find that the battle you fought with such courage and grace had come to an end, and your beautiful soul had left this world of pain to find its way home. I held you in my arms and sang our songs to you, and told you how proud I was of you, and how much I loved you.
With each day, my heart hopes that you will return to me, and that this was a terrible mistake. That you will twirl me around in the rain with your gorgeous smile that lit up the room, as you did so many times before.
A light has gone from our lives that will never be replaced. You touched so many with your kindness, humour, courage, loyalty and strength of character that made you the finest, most honourable man I have ever known. We will never see your like again.
Wherever you are, my darling, know that you live on in us - that your name is spoken, that your family and friends honour you with their tributes, their support, and their loving memories.
Wait for me sweetheart, until we can dance together once more.
Yours Truly, Suzanne. xxx
