The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Kerry Lee KOWITZ 10.03.1980 ~ 30.04.2011 Eight years ago today, Our world came to an end, We didn’t just lose a Husband & Daddy, We lost our Best Friend. We loved the cheekiness of your smile, And the kindness in your heart, But Heaven saw the need for you, Which meant we had to part. Losing you has taught us many things, And now we face each day, With loving and happy memories, To help us on our way. The special years will not return, When we were all together, But with the love deep in our hearts, You’ll walk with us forever. No matter how many years will pass, We’ll miss you every day, Keep shining bright from up above, So you can light our way. All our love, Melissa, Jack and Chloe xoxoxo
