The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
In memory of Judy Jervis 13.08.1944 - 25.10.2011 Mum. It feels like yesterday that we heard the news, You were fighting a battle you were going to lose. For 3 more weeks we laughed and cried, And all I could do was sit by your side. I'm grateful for the time we were able to spend, To talk and enjoy special times till the end. Now all my memories of you are so dear but gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here. To tell you I'm fine, the kids are great and the boys have grown and AEIOU are sending Aidan home! Mum you were brave beyond compare, Rest now, pain free, in gods loving care.
