The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
In memory of Jan Elizabeth Hughes 1/9/1956 - 20/ 2/2012 God saw you were getting tired And it was not meant to be, So he put his arms around you And whispered,'come to me'. With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you pass away, Although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best Thinking and missing you yesterday, today and forever, Love your beloved family and friends x
