To the lovely Denise and her very special team atSt Laurence House,I thank you for being there for us both.My eternal thanks to Glenda and the amazing staff in all departments at Nangatta. The genuine love, care, patience and compassion you all showed to Kevin made me feel so humble. Your care of him was outstanding and I would recommend anyone who is struggling like I was with a loved one with dementia that they would never find better care anywhere. Kevin responded to your genuine love of him as an individual which gave me such peace of mind. The love and friendship you all showed me I so appreciated. During Kevin's last days I felt your love and it just warmed my heart as each one came in to say their special `good byes'', sharing my laughter and tears. To Chaplain Geoff, who arranged for the beautiful music, candle, special scent, soft light and the beautiful quilt made by Janice all contributed to making his passing so serene,I thank you. I also thank the many hard working people involved with the Op Shop that work so hard to raise money for Nangatta, it is so appreciated. My love and special thanks to Kevin's very special mates Joe, John and Brett for their amazing support. Words can't express just how much I appreciated the support of my niece Veronica, I love you and thank you, you are one very special lady.My much loved Bretty Boy, the hours we sat and shared with Kevin were so special and he did enjoy his many `last Ports'' on his mouth swab.
