Kunmanara Hoosan

APO NT’s Governing Group members and staff were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Kunmanara Hoosan in Darwin 23rd of November 2022.

Kunmanara has supported APO NT over many years of note was his participation in the establishment of the Aboriginal Housing NT peak body. Recently Kunmanara welcomed APO NT staff to the CLC Executive Council in Kalkarindji. We acknowledge his strong leadership, empowering CLC delegates and all Aboriginal people to have their voices heard.

It is without doubt that he will be sorely missed and APO NT would like to send our sincere condolences to Kunmanara’s family, the Central Land Council, Central Australia communities and his friends.
