HESTERJohn Norman 24.07.1962 - 10.08.2012One year after the agony of losing my Husband and Best Friend and the world just goes on without you. On the surface I function and appear to cope; our beautiful Boys and their busy lives help to occupy, distract and keep me going. But there is never a time when it is not there - a terrible ache of sadness which exists just under the surface and emotions which I can now mostly control. It is always the nights, when our Boys are asleep and the day is over, that I feel most alone. I search for you and find you reflected in the soft faces of our sleeping Children; in our garden at night when the wind rustles gently through the trees and in the stars overhead. You are there in thesequiet moments of my life. And in my dreamsI still hold onto your hand
