The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
SHARON ANN HEGARTY They say memories are golden Well maybe that is true. But we never wanted memories, We only want you. So many times weve needed you, So many times weve cried. If love alone could of saved you, You never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still. In our heart you hold a place No one else will ever fill. If tears could build a stairway And heartache make a lane, We would walk the path to heaven & bring you back again. Even though your time is over and we must walk alone Our smiles stay with our memories And our hearts are your new home. Love always and forever Bob, Kym & Logan xoxoxoxoxo
