HANCOCK, Michael John

The Acting Chief Officer, State Fire Commission and members of the Tasmania Fire Service are saddened by the passing of a well-respected and devoted member who dedicated 36 years of service to Hobart Fire Brigade and Tasmania Fire Service. Our deepest sympathy to Mike’s family and friends.

Mike’s service to community was at the forefront when he took on the role as site foreman with members of Tasmania Fire Service to restore and auction a house to raise significant funds for Make A Wish Foundation.

Mike’s impact and contribution to Hobart Fire Brigade will be long remembered. Our condolences and thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones.
