A cup of tea was always the starting point for any tribulation. And by the time the cup had run dry, a workable solution had invariably been found. Two years on, and I honestly believe that no amount of drinkage could have ever prepared us, for what was lying in wait just over the horizon.
That said, I know you would be making short work of the many Molehills now masquerading as Mountains in your wake.
Despite an almost daily assault on the Summit, I have (at times) found myself sliding all the way back to Base Camp at best, or the Foot of the Mountain (or Molehill) at worst. I hope you understand the path I have chosen.
Looking back...
It is hard to believe you had thought (however briefly), that those being left behind would somehow be better off without you. That said, let the record show (with my life for one as testament) - despite having rarely been surprised by life (indeed your intuition was the stuff of legend), that... on this occasion (with most having a much higher number), you could not have been further from the truth!
