GRAVES, Ivy DoreenThis is to advise that our Mother and Grandmother, Ivy Doreen Graves, passed away on 13th March, 2014 at St John of God Community Hospice at Murdoch in Perth, Western Australia. Mum was born in Brisbane, on 25th May, 1931, to a wonderful Mother who I am proud to say, we were able to meet and get to know and love. Mum had four Brothers and seven Sisters, of which, one Sister still lives, although we do not know where she resides.Mum was 82 years and 9 months old when she crossed over to the other side. I say crossed over to the other side because she did believe in a supreme being. We know that her journey to him would have been one of soft colours, good country and western music, and a gentleman to hold her hand as she moved towards the light - a light that she would have known would give her a place of love and comfort, and of warmth and safety- everything that she would deserve. She was not one to visit worries on her children, and I remember her as a good woman; a woman who kept her own counsel, planned ahead, and cared for those around her. Mother, I still cry for you, as we all do. If you are looking down at us, then be comforted that you gave us the skills to go through our lives as good people and to care and to provide for our own and those around us.Rest in Peace, Mother. From your loving Daughter Lesley, your loving Son's, Garry, John and Wife Tracey, Jeffrey and Wife Carol. Your loving Grandsons, Jamie, Aaron & Rhys
