The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
An amazing man (brother-in-law and uncle) Robert.
A heart of gold, a smile of pure joy, a kindness that extended to all he knew. That was our Robert.
Those special memories of you
will always bring a smile
if only I could have you back
for just a little while
Then we could sit and talk again
Just like we used to do
You've always meant so very much
and always will be to
the fact that you're no longer here
will always cause us pain
but you'll be forever in our hearts
Until we meet again.
We'll miss our times together
and things in common that we shared
but nothing fills the emptyness
Now you are no longer there.
Rest in peace
