FIFE, Douglas

On behalf of the Chief Officer, Hobart Fire Brigade and members of Tasmania Fire Service are saddened by the passing of a respected work colleague.

Doug passed away recently while at sea sailing down the east coast of Australia. Doug’s service to community of 15 years working within Hobart Fire Brigade and as a volunteer for several years.

Doug was extremely talented in many areas including building, sailing and rock climbing with stories of him in multiple climbing magazines

Our condolences and thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones. Stand down Doug Fife.
