MERRITT, EDWARD (Br Ted MSC)

Died Holy Thursday, 9th April 2020, in the Darwin Hospice, after a relatively short but severe illness, aged 92 years. Brother ‘Ted’ was a member of the MSC Religious Congregation. Born in Brisbane in 1928, he is survived by his younger sister Margaret, her husband Des Greentree and many nephews and nieces. Requiem Mass for Brother Ted, commemorating his extraordinary and varied life dedicated to the welfare of the Territory’s neediest, will be celebrated today, April 16 at 10 am at St Paul’s Church, Nightcliff.
