The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
KARL DESCH 18/01/1934 – 06/09/2011 There is always a face before us, A voice we would love to hear, A smile we will remember, Of a Dad we loved so dear. Through all our tears and sorrows, There is one thing that makes us glad, That god chose us to share with you, The precious years we had. You gave us many things in life, Gifts both big and small, But most of all you gave us love, The greatest gift of all. An empty space no one can fi ll, We miss you Dad and always will. A prayer, a tear are all we can give, These you will have as long as we live. Remembered with Love Kala, Peter, Marlene, Tanya & Stefan
