  • You were riding - got an awful fright
  • Amongst the grass in the paddock - where you lay
  • From us all; you were taken away
  • Although to save your life the paramedics tried
  • 2.30am next morning with the police news - I cried
  • 8 hrs and more we drove to the scene
  • Of your accident - so horrid and mean
  • We spoke to your colleagues and some friends
  • Great mate, well liked - seemed to be the trends
  • Your Triumph bike I cannot bring myself to retrieve
  • It holds a vision and memories of no reprieve
  • Through burning tears and broken heart pain
  • I've yearned and yearned to hug you again
  • Do you ride with Bubby Lucas on your knee?
  • My first grandson - so precious to me
  • Again we'll make the long solemn trip
  • To sit with your mates - a cold one to sip
  • Although again you'll never walk through the door
  • I love you yesterday, today and FOREVER more
  • My friend, my mate, my SON
  • You were all rolled into one
  • Always Loved Mum
