The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Tragically taken from his family 40 years ago.
It is a lifetime ago since we saw you last,
Three generations have cruised by fast.
Plenty of good memories, we can’t thank you enough,
For raising us strong for when things got tough.
Your good work ethics were more than just fine,
It was admired, treasured, and passed down the line.
A heart of gold and your good-looking face,
Made you that special someone, we can never replace.
You remain our loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
