The Office of Research Ethics and Integrity at The University of Melbourne mourns the sudden loss of Mr David Cecil, a long-standing and highly respected member of the University's animal ethics committees.
David contributed 22 years of service to the University, demonstrating and unwavering commitment to furthering the welfare of animals through his committee work. He generously gave of his time, knowledge and considerable expertise, to promote best practice in ethical animal research. David's contribution will have a lasting impact on many of the University's researchers, professional staff, and his ethics committee colleagues.
