DR. BUSH-BLANASI

The staff and council members of the Northern Land Council (NLC) wish to acknowledge the passing of our long-standing Chair, Dr Bush-Blanasi.

Dr Bush-Blanasi will be remembered by our organisation as a strong and passionate leader who was unyielding in his devotion to the NLC. He was a tireless advocate and inspired us all to continue to fight for the rights of Aboriginal people.

We will miss our Chairman, but we are comforted knowing that his legacy will live on in the values he instilled in this organisation.

We are grateful for his time and efforts and will remain committed to honouring his memory.

Beyond his professional accomplishments it was obvious to all, Dr Bush-Blanasi cherished his role as a family man – proud of his kids, grandkids and those he called family. Recognising this, we offer our heartfelt condolences to his family; they are in our thoughts through this time of loss.
