Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
BURCHER, DANNY 22nd May 1965 - 7th Dec 2011 God looked around his garden and saw an empty space. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arm around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He saw the road was getting tough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered Peace be Thine. It broke my heart to lose you but you didn't go alone, for half of me went with you the day God called you home. Forever in my heart Danny. I love you so much. Mum
