The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
In loving memory of Maureen Budge 20/08/11 We wish you were here with us everyday to light up our lives and show us the way Your love and support was always there Showing family and friends how much you care When we all get together on occasions we share There is something missing that just isn't there It's the sound of your laughter your softness and smile To get that back, we woud all walk a million miles When we have good news that we would love to share We pick up the phone and then realise you're not there And we miss your calls when you would ring up to say Hi love, how are you and how was your day A year has passed but it feels like yesterday And the ache in our hearts never goes away But our love for you will live forever Like your love for us when we were together From your loving Husband Don and Loving Family John, Brenda, David, Bernie, Donna, Rochelle, Manuel, Mark, James, Maddy, Peter, Kiri, Steven.
