The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
When the city didn’t suit him, he took his family to the bush,
For the country life has pleasures that the townsfolk seldom know.
He shared with us his vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended,
And now we’ll surely hear him in the murmur of the breezes, as the seasons come and go.
Heaven has friends to meet him, and his love is there to greet him.
His legacy’s extended through the generations not yet ended,
And at night we’ll clearly see him in the wondrous glory of the stars.
Thank you Pa for a lifetime of memories
Love Craig, Anne, Chelsea, Brett and Tim
