WALKER, Arthur Thomas

The Board and Staff of the Motor Trade Association of South Australia express their deepest condolences to Arthur’s family. 

Arthur served as the Association's President twice, first in 1985 and again in 1993. During this time his contribution was integral to the development of the new national body, the Motor Trades Association of Australia (MTAA)  and to the growth of the MTA’s Apprentice Group Training Scheme.  Arthur continued to serve the Association as an Executive Committee member until July 2007. 

He was awarded Life Membership for his contribution to the Motor Industry in 2007.  He will be sadly missed.
