Beloved wife of Paul Francis (dec.) and mother of Philippa (dec.), Stephanie and Paul Martin died on May 26th in Sydney. Born and raised in Melbourne, Helen went with Paul out into the world on a journey taking in the United States, Adelaide and Canberra, before returning home to Melbourne in retirement. She was a teacher, scholar and wise mother and will be greatly missed by her surviving children, extended family, friends and former colleagues. Helen will be farewelled at a celebration of her life at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, South Melbourne on Thursday, June 9th at 10.00 am. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Helen’s memory to the Sacred Heart Mission St Kilda.
