WHITE, Eileen Elsie

Born amidst the chaos of wartime London, Eileen’s life began under a sky lit by bombs. Sent to the countryside as a child, she learned independence early, navigating a world of challenges with quiet determination. She passed on the day when the night's sky is lit by colourful and loud fireworks - life's journey is an interesting one.

Eileen’s adventurous spirit brought her and her family to Australia, seeking a fresh start. It was there, at Fishermen’s Bend, she met her lifelong love, Peter Michael (dec.).

Eileen raised four children—Cheryl (dec.), Peter, Robert and Kevin. Her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren continue her legacy.

Eileen’s strength was unmatched, defying life’s trials, including the final battle with cancer over many years. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and love. Appreciation to all at Ballarat Base Hospital.

Rest now, Mum, Nanny, Great-Nanny; forever loved and deeply missed.
