The Chairman, Council, CEO | Principal, and the Haileybury community are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of its long-serving Chaplain Jim "Rev" Stevens. Jim commenced his Haileybury career at Newlands in 1989, moved to the Keysborough Senior School as Senior Chaplain in 2001, and retired in 2009.
Jim was a unique character who taught, guided, entertained and energised those under his care. Beneath his ebullient exterior was a deeply caring mentor and friend who knew everyone by name, and who enhanced the lives of several generations of Haileybury students.
Our heartfelt sympathies are extended to his Wife Meryl and his children Geoffrey, Tonya, Christopher (OH 1997) and Robert (OH 2000).
