SLOANE, Glen Woodall
It is with great sadness that Glen’s family announce his passing on 21 November 2021. Glen died peacefully in his sleep. He was 92. Glen was born on August 22nd, 1929, in Gawler, South Australia, to Elsie and William Sloane. He graduated as Dux of Lyndoch High School in 1946, and he married Patricia Ann Mills in 1962. Glen was passionate about politics, sport, time with family and friends, including Glen and Patricia’s wonderful neighbours. He led a big life with a generous heart, a keen mind and unfailing curiosity for so much happening in the community and the world. Most of all, Glen was passionately in love with his wife, Patricia, and she with him. Glen is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughter, Jane Sloane and son, David Sloane; his sister, Rosemary Jennings; sister-in-law, Betty Sloane and their families. Forever in our hearts.
