Vivian Bullwinkel was an Australian Army Nurse Sister during the second world war who was the sole survivor of the tragic Banka Island massacre in Sumatra

Formerly of Townsville, passed away peacefully on February 28 2021 at Cooroy, aged 78 after a long and courageous battle with Emphysema.
Beloved Wife of Gordon (deceased).
Dearly loved Mother and Mother-In-Law of Tracey and Richard, Robert and Louise, Tony and Kylie.
Cherished Grandmother of Dion, Philip, Jackson, Brittney, Aiden and Mitchyl.
No service will be held as per Christine’s wishes.
A small remembrance memorial will be held at Montville on Saturday 10th April 2021.
