Born in Taurianova, Pr. R.C., Italy on March 2, 1930. Passed away peacefully in St Hilarion, Seaton on January 18, 2021. Aged 90 years. Dearly beloved husband of Rosa (deceased). Loving father and father-in-law of Maria and David Schulz, Carmela and John Bozzon, Domenic. Cherished Nonno of Matthew and Nicholas, Jordan and Desi, Olivia and Bill. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Antonio and Antonietta Ruggiero (both deceased). Treasured Zio of Fabio, Ramona and Vince and Silvana. Rocco will always be loved and remembered by all his family and friends in Australia and Italy. Special thanks to all the Nurses and Staff at St Hilarion Aged Care, Seaton and Doctors A&P Cocchiaro for the care and attention given to Rocco. Dear Dad, We were very privileged and honoured to call you dad. You were the most kindest and caring dad anyone could ask for. Looking after you for the last 19 years without mum made you the centre of our lives and everything we did. It broke our hearts to see you struggle those last few days and we are grateful you and mum are now together. We love you and miss you dearly. Maria, David, Matthew and Nicholas. Dearest Dad, Our hearts are broken that you have left so suddenly without seeing your first grandchild get married. We wish you were here today. You were a man of great pride and your intelligence and knowledge was lost on your generation. Your love of reading and continued education saw you talk for hours. We will remember all your crazy antics and stories that kept us entertained and humored. Seeing you daily and our Sunday afternoon lunches will not be the same. You were our world for the last 19 years without mum and we will feel your loss. Reunited with mum. Love your children and grandchidren, Carmela and John, Jodan and Desi, Olivia and Bill.
