NIX, John

The Richmond Football Club mourns the passing

of former player, coach and Life Member John Nix.

John was a classy centreman for 95 games from 1949-1956, who finished 3rd in the 1952 Best and Fairest.

During the golden era at Tigerland he coached the Reserves to three consecutive Grand Finals, including the 1966 Premiership.

Beloved by all, he served on the selection committee, was a recruiter, and a

familiar face at Richmond gatherings throughout the decades.
