Passed away peacefully.
Loving and devoted husband of Veronica (Vonny dec). Treasured father of Pauline, Kathryn, Trish, Chris and Monica. Cherished father-in-law of Robert and Kathie. Loving Grandfather of Shawn, Max and Callum. Much loved brother of Alex and Donald (dec) and brother-in-law of Dierdre and Shirley. Dearly loved eldest son of Alex and Madeline (both dec).
He faced his health challenges of the past few years with grace and serenity. We are grateful for the devoted care of all those who attended to John at Advantaged Care, Prestons. Sadly missed by all who knew him.
In the 1960’s he worked tirelessly to raise funds for building St Therese Church Sadlier and through his later work with St Vincent de Paul was able to make a difference in the lives of his community.
A kind and gentle man.
Accepting and serene to the last.
