Joined Yarrambat Fire Brigade in January 1965 and throughout his 57 years with the Brigade held many key positions including Firefighter, Apparatus Officer, Lieutenant, Community Safety Roles & perhaps Laurie's most rewarding role of playing Santa in the annual Santa Run.
Laurie was also a Volunteer for St John Ambulance for over 40 years.
Yarrambat Fire Brigade extend our deepest sympathies to Laurie's family, in particular Darren & Glenn.
