It is with great sadness that SANFL acknowledges the passing of Peter Kitschke.

An SA Football Hall of Fame member, Peter's remarkable involvement in the game spanned more than 50 years.

A Life Member of Jamestown FC, Peter won seven Mail Medals and 13 Club best and fairest awards. He captained Jamestown for seven seasons and played in four premierships for the Magpies. Peter’s service to the game also extended into umpiring from 1975 – 2001.

Peter was a true gentlemen who will be remembered for his tremendous service and contribution to the League, football and broader community in SA.

On behalf of Chairman The Hon Rob Kerin, CEO Darren Chandler, SA Football Commission and SANFL, we extend our deepest sympathy to Mary and family and the wider Jamestown community.
