at 93 years young.
Augusta Caterina Parrella
was born in Arpaise, Benevento, Italy.
Daughter of
Felice and Irene Parrella
and sister of
Antonietta, Filomena
and Maria (all deceased).
She married Giuseppe Iasiello (deceased) on 9 August 1952 and in December 1953 followed her husband to Australia to Boyup Brook WA. Her children Mercedes, Tonina and Antonio were born in WA and in 1960, the family moved to Adelaide and soon after Philip was born.
We remember her as a strong, proud and confident woman. She had a great sense of humour and often entertained us with her stories and observations life. She loved cooking and reading and was a wonderful carer for her grandchildren.
Augusta’s last year at Bucklands was a happy and restorative time for her. We thank the staff for the genuine care and love that she received. The palliative care was exceptional.
She was a loving mother-in-law to

Dean (deceased),
Judy and Irene.
She was grandmother to
nine grandchildren and
great grandmother to
14 great grandchildren.
Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory
no one can steal.
