God saw you were getting tired, So he put his arms around you,
And whispered
"Come with me",
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer,
We could not make
you stay,
A golden heart
stopped beating,
Hard working hands
to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Rest in Peace, until we all meet again with mum. Love you papa
You will forever be our favourite sports commentator watching sport on 2 different tv’s at full volume, the tv commercial critic, sharing your words of wisdom and teaching us the value of hard work and resilience. You will live on forever through each and every one of us to make you proud. The twinkle in your blue eyes and your signature moustache will never be forgotten. It was an honour to call you Nonno, Rest in peace. Your grandchildren.
Dear Gus
I thought of you this morning and I will think and remember you each and every day.
We had 30 great years together that
I won’t forget.
Your beautiful family and I watched you take your last breath and I know that you waited till we were all there by your side, just as you have always been there by our side.
All we have left now is your picture in a frame and lots of happy memories.
I’m sure you are looking down at us and smiling and happy to be reunited with your loved ones once again.
Rest in peace dear Gus
Love Sandy.
Our sincere thanks to Calvary Central Districts hospital and the incredible Nursing staff for their
care and kindness
