Loving husband of Frances, devoted brother of Nola, proud father of Jennifer, Michael & Helen, adoring grandfather of Quinn, Jasper & Olivia, and Big J to Chris, Jon, Veevi, Gemma & Purvan.
A man of tremendous intellect, unwavering determination, ready humour and who was (as his hero Dumbledore would say) a fierce friend. An icon of the Orchid World, a passionate advocate, an able leader, a respected role model, and an inspiration to all those whose lives he enriched.
Our world is diminished by his passing but we will not dwell in our grief. As we know he would wish, we will honour him by celebrating his achievements, his profound influence in shaping our lives, and thereby demonstrate our abiding love for him.
