The President, Council and Members of the Law Society Northern Territory extend their sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of His Honour Austin Asche AC KC, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory, who passed away on 14 December 2024.

His Honour served as a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory from 1986 to 1987, as its Chief Justice from 1987 to 1993 and as Administrator of the Northern Territory from 1993 to 1997.

His Honour will long be remembered for his service and contribution to the Northern Territory legal profession and wider community and also as a good friend of the Law Society Northern Territory.
