ANAGNOSTOU, Constantin John

01/08/1928 - 01/08/2022

August 1, 1928-August 1, 2022

Died peacefully in his sleep on his 94th birthday, beloved husband of his beautiful Rosl (dec) dearest, and much-loved father and father-in-law of Ingrid and Tony, Werner and Robyn, adored ‘Pops’ of Greta and Matthew, Anthony and Felicity, and Alex, and wonderful great ‘Pops’ of Lucas and Oliver.

John was a proud and respected member of the Hobart Greek community through the Hellenic Community Welfare of St George, Hobart for which he volunteered throughout his life in Tasmania. He was one of the founding volunteer committee members who helped fundraise to build the Hellenic Hall in Federal Street, North Hobart.

Dad, you worked so hard throughout your life in Australia as a migrant to this country, to ensure the very best for your family. Your commitment and dedication to provide a wonderful home, to educate your children and then to watch them grow and succeed is testimony to your own lifelong achievements. We love you dad (‘Pops’) and we will never, ever forget what you sacrificed for all of us. Rest peacefully now without any more pain and suffering. Reunited again with your darling Rosl.

The family is having a private celebration of John’s life.
