The Chairman, Council, CEO | Principal and the Haileybury community are saddened to hear of the passing of Bill Allen.
Bill was a prominent student in the period immediately after World War II. In 1948 he was a Probationary Prefect, the Captain of Berthon House and a winner of the Citizenship Prize. He was also the Athletics Open Champion of the School for that year.
He served as President of the Old Haileyburians Association from 1972-1974, and was a member of the School Council from 1976-1982.
Bill was a gentleman whose caring and supportive nature was appreciated by all who knew him.
