We would like to say thank you to Noela’s family & friends for all the love & care that you have given her all throughout her life. Thank you to all the community bus drivers, group organisers & Taxi drivers who have taken great care of Noela over the years & kept her active & involved with all of her hobbies & passions. We would also like to express our immense gratitude for all of the amazing support, kind words, cards & flowers that we have received since Noela’s passing. The response has been truly overwhelming. Noela was a very special lady who enriched the lives of so many people. She will be forever remembered for her determination & positivity. From surviving Polio as a child & overcoming the many challenges which that created, to carrying the Olympic torch through Lethbridge in 2000, Noela really was an inspiration to us all & we feel eternally grateful to have been a part of her life. At the time of Noela’s passing we spoke of having a gathering in her honour at a later date. Just the thought of having a ‘Noela Day’ without actually having Noela there is just too heartbreaking for us. We hope that you will understand & respect our decision to not go ahead with the original idea. However, we do invite you to visit Noela any time. She is resting peacefully at Bannockburn Cemetery in the lawn section.

With thanks,

Len, Ben, Brea, Jesse, Charlie, Lauren, Kevin & Evie xxx
