The President, Miles Crawley SC, on behalf of the Northern Territory Bar Association expresses sadness on the passing of John Waters QC, a former member. John practised for decades as a fearless advocate in the Courts of the Northern Territory and in the High Court.

Unassailably independent and a great character, John was much respected and well liked, and will be missed.

Sincere condolences are extended to John’s family.
